Linking everything with Blogger Web Comments ...

OK, if you have Mozilla Firefox, then you can install Google's Blogger Web Comments extension, which kind of helps you to mark your territory on the internet.

You can get Mozilla Firefox here ...

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox

You can get the Blogger Web Comments extension here ...

http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/index.html

or here ...

http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/webcomments/index.html

When you go have the Blogger Web Comments installed in your Firefox browser, then you will see a little icon in the lower right-hand corner of the browser whenever you visit a page that has comments about it on a Blogger site. I hope that made sense.

I am going test it by posting these links.

My old site, which is not working for some reason is

http://xanadistic.googlepages.com

or

http://xanadistic.googlepages.com/index.html.

My new site is http://beforetheworldmoveson.googlepages.com or http://beforetheworldmoveson.googlepages.com/index.html.

We'll see if it works.

Tori Amos - iieee - my favorite song ever? Maybe.

I don't know what specifically makes this song so much better to me than others out there, but it might have something to do with the drums and bass. The "Just say yes, you little arsonist" part that seems to come out of nowhere with a great guitar sound is also pretty nice. The start-stop feel of the beginning verse of the song is pretty cool, too. There is also an element of trip-hop or down tempo to this song.

System error ...

OK, my Googlepages site, http://xanadistic.googlepages.com, aka Before The World Moves On ..., is not working. I think I am not alone, though. According to this Google Groups thread, it seems like many sites are down due to some problem or scheduled maintenance with Googlepages. Yuck! I hope they fix this soon!

Before the world moves on ...

Well, of course, that is a reference to Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. Out of the seven books in the series, I am on number 5, Wolves of Calla. I love the series, and the idea of the world moving on. It's kind of the same idea that is in movies like the Mad Max series and all of those zombie movies out there. I don't really need a Blogger blog since I already have a LiveJournal and a couple of websites, but I think Blogger gets indexed very well since it is a part of Google. I am probably wrong about that, but I am going to think it anyway.

I really like the singer/rapper/artist/producer M.I.A. She has two wonderful albums. One is sort of her official, debut album, called Arular. The other album is kind of a bootleg album of songs mixed by her DJ friend, Diplo, called Piracy Funds Terrorism, volume one.

I have seen her in concert in Austin, TX, and she was amazing. I have a website where you can listen to her music in RealAudio format or something like that. The files end in .rm. They are smaller in size than an mp3, and their quality is not as good as an mp3, but if you like the song, email me at xanadistic@gmail.com, and I can send you the mp3.

The website is at http://xanadistic.googlepages.com/index.html or you can go to http://xanadistic.googlepages.com/mia.html for the M.I.A. stuff.
